Clam Bake 08

I think this picture of Fred pretty much sums up how much fun this year's clam bake was. Our hats are off to the weather gods and to Patti and Paul Riley for organizing the event this year.

Tricia O'Neill recorded the merriment and the pictures are posted here

Brierneck Day

Well it rained all week but of course cleared just in time for our annual beach day contest and celebration. Thanks to the many individuals who worked behind the scenes to make the day a success, and of course to all the families who brought their kids and grand-kids down to participate.

The kids must have been extra cute this year. Between Donna Kramich and myself we had about 300 images to post. Here they are.

BREAKFAST on the BEACH

I'd say about 25 of us met this morning at 8:00 and enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast of coffee, bagels and pastries from Jim's Bagles, and other goodies provided by neighborhood members. The weather, as is it's habit was perfect. For those of you who missed the feed your really should get up and moving a bit early next year and attend. You missed a great opportunity to meet some of your neighbors and see the beach at its best.

Thanks to Donna Kramich for bringing her camera and taking these pictures.

BNA SUMMER PARTY

Thanks to Ann Jo and Paul Jackson for host and to Tricia O'Neill for organizing the first of our summer events. By all memories it was one of the best attended events ever, and was enjoyed by all in attendance. Was so busy talking i didn't take too may pictures, but what i did take are here
