B.N.A. CHARTER

Be it Known That whereas Albert K. Comins, Fannie M. Whitman, Richmond K. Fletcher, Frank J. Henkel, Alfred F. Whitman, Esther L. Comins and Martha G.M. Taggart have associated themselves with the intention of forming a corporation under the name of the Brier Neck Association, For the purpose of the following: -

To promote the general interests of the residents of Brier Neck, Gloucester, Massachsuetts, and to preserve Brier Neck as a residential community; to advocate better roads, proper maintenance of the beach and to urge compliance with zoning law provisions;

and have complied with the provisions of the Statutes of this Commonwealth in such case made and provided, as appears from the certificate of the Proper Officers of said corporation, duly approved by the Commissioner of Corporations and Taxation and recorded in this office:

Now, Therefore, I, Frederick W. Cook, Secretary of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that said

Albert K. Comins, Fannie M. Whitman, Richmond K. Fletcher, Frank J. Henkel, Alfred F. Whitman, Esther L. Comins and Martha G.M. Taggart, their associates and successors, are legally organized and established as, and are hereby made, an existing corporation under the name of the Brier Neck Association, with the powers, rights and privileges, and subject to the limitations, duties and restriction, which by law appertain thereto.

Witness my official signature hereunto subscribed, and the Great Seal of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts hereunto affixed, this thirteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
